I have placed a new page on my official blog (selfies are a good record of one’s state of mind) – which contain some of the pictures I’ve taken during the making of musical and film achievements – a general history, some definite nostalgia – there are many pics missing from earlier years, which I’ll add when I find them – but… this was a bit of fun for me, and has brought back so much memory, struggle, triumph, sadness, joy and generally experiences that I’ve treasured — comments are welcome; and questions too, if you feel inspired.
I adore this song…. its just, beautiful – very elegant and such a sweet melody. I took the entire day and enjoyed singing… just simply recorded in my (unpadded) humble office – no sound equipment – just, Garage band and a set of headphones. I pray one day, I can record in a beautiful studio again…. if anyone listening/reading this post wants to give me that chance… don’t be shy – use the CONTACT form !

Backing track (these two wonderful musicians are hero’s in my book – revolutionizing the classically trained to do ‘out of the box’ work – they seriously rock – and I adore them – I hope my humble singing effort does justice to their beautiful work): 2CELLOS – Shape Of My Heart [OFFICIAL VIDEO]
Sung with love, this was an incredibly challenging song to nail down – I hope you will hear the vocal effort, despite the very humble office recording circumstances…. One day, I sincerely hope to work in a proper studio again. For now, I will keep working on perfecting, strengthening and challenging myself to stretch into new pieces. And, may the planet choose and decide upon, Love.
This post is dedicated to all musicians who strive to bring beauty and diversity of sound vibration into this modern world – thank you – your efforts are not in vain. The following words are powerful beyond measure – with deep thanks to David Pendragon for posting up these words.~ Jaya Khoobsurat
“Musicians are some of the most driven, courageous people on the face of the earth. They deal with more day-to-day rejection in one year than most people do in a lifetime….” (READ ON)
